Going to school, working and having a family made it really hard to continue my running habits. I have continued to be lazy as I now have a desk job. The purpose of this blog is two fold. First, to document my diet, weight loss and running progress. I am not guaranteeing daily updates, but I will update the blog at least a couple of times a week. The other reason is because I want to make Burr Racing a reality. I want to start by organizing a marathon. I already have a route chosen at a secret location (I wouldn't want you to see how awesome my route is then create your own racing company and steal my race), but I want to get in shape and run my route before I decide on if it is really as great as I think it would be. Also I need to find out how much it costs to put on a race so I can work on getting some funding.
Oh and the name.....well my last name is too easily mispronounced and misspelled so I went with something easier. The name could also change if I can't think of a good logo.
In a nutshell I'm an overweight 27 year old who used to run marathons and wants to shed the weight, run marathons again and start my own running company.
